Hello,

My name is Alex (although for artistic and pretentious purposes I prefer to be referred to as ‘A’, which must be written in Italics), and I am an experienced graphic designer, I have designed graphics for various companies such as ‘Arkansas Chainsaws’ and ‘Shear bliss co. ltd. est. 1987’. If you want I can whip something up quickly, just a basic design to start. Is there anything specific you want on the logo (e.g. Name of daycare, motto, colour scheme)?

yeah sure thats great, the daycare is called ‘Nurture’, there is currently no motto as we dont feel its necessary but if you wish to include it in your logo we may consider it. the prefered color scheme would involve white, red and blue. I look forward to hearing from you

Sorry about the confusion with names. I don’t think that this is really an appropriate logo for the daycare, there will be children and their parents seeing this logo and I don’t think theyd want to see chainsaws and swords

Hello Amber,

This was just a brief mock up of one of my ideas. And if you read the motto, you will see that I specifically state that joining your daycare will make them into good people rather than chainsaw-wielding maniacs. Blood is also a symbol of humanity; it’s simply there to remind the children that they are human beings. The swords (they’re actually machetes) represent friendship.

Here is my second idea, I’ve taken ideas from modern art and adapted it toward a daycare setting. Hope you like.

See, not nice being called by a different name, is it?

I would like to be paid as I am a professional, and art is my profession during weeknights and every third Sunday of the month (that is when my creative gene thrives the most). It’s like if you brought up a baby to be like a Hitler/Gaddafi/Megatron hybrid you would still get paid for encouraging him whenever he pisses in a sandpit, actually, wait there…I now have another idea for a logo.

If that is the case I am going to tell Barack Obama that you kick children in the knees. I don’t see what is wrong with my first logo. Is the use of blue too subtle? You didn’t specify the emphasis of each colour in your colour scheme
